There was a back-to-school carnival on base on Saturday. It was very hot that day, but we walked from our house to where it was located. Russell had a lot of fun- jumping in the bouncy castles, going down the slide (where he tumbled rather than slid down it), etc. He received a blue balloon sword from the clown as well. They served free food- hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pop, water, cotton candy, popcorn, popsicles and ice cream sandwiches.
